Text Box: MY SISTER'S CLOSET NETWORK, NFP is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. Our goal is to develop valuable partnerships with corporations, agencies and other non-profit organizations that align with our mission. The target audience for My Sister’s Closet Network is all women of varying ages, backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. As an online community of experts MSCN is a conduit for women to interact and support one another in all facets of their lives. With your support, we launched a program in 2009 affectionately titled, My Sister’s Kids, with the objective of empowering and motivating our children to succeed through education. We believe strongly in the popular adage that it takes a village to raise a child. To this end, My Sister’s Closet Network desires to serve as that village and has stepped up to do its part in raising our own children and our sister’s children. We kicked-off this program with a Royal Ball and a movie showing of Disney’s “The Princess and The Frog” featuring their first African-American princess with an entrepreneurial message based in New Orleans. In 2010, we kicked-off our My Sister’s Career program with an interview scholarship webinar and a career boutique. My Sister’s Closet Network (MSCN) offers a series of webinar based seminars, podcasts and other offerings specifically tailored to better prepare students for scholarship interviews and provide career skills that are useful long-term as well. One goal of MSCN, in support of its mission, is to encourage and promote the professional development of women. This webinar and workshop series, Every Seed Planted (based in Galatians 6, We Harvest What We Plant) assists us in achieving this goal.
